メディアアート展示会「indoor」の『再展』に参加した際に制作した作品。展示会場は、多摩ニュータウンで廃校になった小学校だった。
そこで、多摩ニュータウン建設当時の人々が持っていた理想の未来を、コラージュとして再構築した。作中に登場するペッパーくんは、理想の未来と現実の多摩との間にエラーを引き起こす主人公である。ペッパー、もとい人型ヒューマノイドは、1960年代の未来の象徴ともいえる存在だ。本作は、そのペッパーくんが壊れる直前に見た走馬灯のような映像作品となっている。
理想都市・多摩と、高齢化社会・多摩を対置した。

This work was made for "Saiten," an exhibition by the media art group "indoor." The venue was an elementary school in Tama New Town that had closed down.
The work reconstructs, through collage, the ideal future imagined by the people of the era when Tama New Town was built. Pepper, the robot that appears in the work, is the protagonist who causes an error between that ideal future and the reality of Tama. Pepper, or rather the humanoid robot, can be seen as a symbol of the future as imagined in the 1960s. The piece is a video work like the life flashing before Pepper's eyes just before it breaks down.
It sets Tama the ideal city against Tama the aging society.
